Voter turnout as of 5 PM

Munugode constituency has recorded 77.55% voter turn out as of 5 PM. 1,87,527 votes have been polled till now.


Voter turnout as of 3 PM

Munugode Constituency has recorded 59.92% voter turn out as of 3 PM. 1,44,878 votes have been polled till now.


Voter turnout as of 1 pm

Munugode Constituency has recorded 41.30% voter turn out as of 1 PM.


Voter turnout as of 11 am

Munugode Constituency has recorded 25.80% voter turn out as of 11 AM.

Voter turnout at 9:30 am

Munugode Constituency has recorded 11.20% as of 9:30 AM.


Munugode by-poll began on Thursday across 298 polling stations. The constituency has recorded an 11.20% voter turnout in the first two and half hours.

1492 officials have been posted at polling stations. Micro Observers have also been deployed at all polling stations.

Each polling station will consist of 4 polling personnel. Webcasting has also been arranged in all polling stations.

The polling percentage will be reported every two hours. Polling will conclude at 6 pm today.

The results are scheduled to be announced on November 6.

Munugode is part of the Bhongir Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency in the Nalgonda district. The constituency has 2,00,956 voters including 1,02,801 males and 98,146 females.

Telangana Chief Election Officer Vikas Raj had asked all unauthorized people other than registered voters in Munugode to leave by 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Around 45 police teams and 37 revenue teams have been deployed to reduce the number of outsiders in the constituency. The teams will visit the villages to keep an eye on any cash distribution or other inducements being offered to the voters.

An Income Tax team of seven members had been deployed to monitor the expenditure-related activities of the candidates and political parties. Around 3,366 State police personnel and 15 companies of the central armed police force have been deployed in Munugode. In addition, 100 checkpoints have been set up throughout the constituency to monitor the movement of men and materials from other locations.

There are 2,41,855 voters in the constituency and all of them will have been given new voter ID cards with special design features.

Earlier, Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagwat reviewed the security arrangements and directed officials to ensure peaceful polling.

Rachakonda Police Commissionerate has jurisdiction over the Munugode assembly constituency's Choutuppal and Narayanpur mandals, according to the CP.

Choutuppal and Narayanpur mandals are home to 82 polling locations and 122 of the total 298 polling stations. Security has been beefed up in critical polling locations, according to CP

The by-election was necessitated by the resignation of MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy on 8 August. He quit the Congress party and joined the BJP. He is also the BJP candidate for the upcoming by-elections.

Indian National Congress has fielded Palvai Sravanthi. TRS has fielded Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, while Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has nominated Andoju Shankara Chari as their candidate.
