No change in intermediate exams schedule: AP
By Newsmeter Network Published on 29 April 2021 12:15 PM GMTVijayawada: Andhra Pradesh education minister Adimulapu Suresh on 29 April announced that there will be no change in the intermediate examination schedule and it will be held from 5 May duly following the COVID-19 protocol and ensuring safety of every student.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, the minister said the examinations will take place from 5 to 19 May in 1,452 examination centres across the state. Students can download their hall tickets from 6 p.m on Thursday, he added.
He assured that students and their parents need not worry as strict preventive measures will be taken at every exam centre. A special COVID officer has been appointed for each district and all test centers will be sanitized every day, he said.
Besides these, thermal scanners have been set up at each test centre to ensure the safety of the students. The minister clarified that the state government is responsible for the future and safety of the students and stated that if the students are given the pass certificates without conducting the examinations, then they will suffer in the future.
East Godavari district has the highest number of examination centers, 146, while Guntur has 60 centers.
