NTRs daughter Umamaheshwari dies in her Jubilee Hills residence

Hyderabad: Former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh and founder of Telugu Desam Party N.T Rama Rao's youngest daughter Kantamaneni Umamaheshwari (52) was found dead at her residence in Hyderabad's Jubilee Hills on 1 August, afternoon. Umamaheshwari was reportedly ill for some time, a family member said. It is suspected to be a case of suicide, however the police is yet to confirm the same.

Jubilee hills police have booked a case under section 174 of the Indian Penal Code and have shifted the body for post mortem. According to the family members, the 52 year old was ill and was placed under treatment, respectively. On Monday, at around 2.45 PM the family members broke into her room and found her dead. Her daughter Deekshitha, informed the cops that the deceased had locked her self in the room.

The news of her death has sent shock waves among the entire Nandamuri family. Former Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his family will visit Umamaheshwari's home to pay their last respect.

N.T Rama Rao and his wife Nandamuri Basavatarakam had 12 children (eight sons and four daughters). The deceased Umamaheshwari was the fourth daughter.
