Hyderabad: RRR's Naatu Naatu won Academy Award for Best Original Song. Lyricist Chandrobose and music director MM Keeravani received the award. They thanked the audience for all the love they showered on the song.
"I grew up listening to the carpenters and now here I am, receiving the Oscars. It has always been the only wish on my mind..," Keeravani said.
RRR has been directed by SS Rajamouli and stars Ram Charan Tej and Jr NTR in the lead roles. The film even has Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Shriya Saran, and others in pivotal roles.
Naatu Naatu made the entire world dance. Many people went gaga over this mind-blowing chartbuster.

Deepika Padukone conquered the stage at the Acadamy Awards 2023. The actress introduced team RRR for the live performance of Naatu Naatu.
Rahul Sipligunj and Kala Bhairava sang Naatu Naatu while American dancer Lauren Gottlieb joined the singers to put up a mind-blowing performance. And the energetic performance received a standing ovation from Hollywood’s elite at the Oscars.
When Deepika was introducing the team, the audience did not even let her finish the speech as they all were super excited about the performance of the song and have been waiting to watch it live. Unfortunately, Jr NTR and Ram Charan could not take part in the performance as they did not want to go unprepared on the stage.
The performance was an energetic three-minute one on the Oscar stage. Rahul and Bhairava, with their amazing talent, electrified the atmosphere at the awards. Also, this performance made some of the biggest names in world cinema give it a standing ovation. For the ones who don't know, Naattu Naatu song has been nominated in the Best Original Song category.
