OTT News: Ajith's `Thunivu’ to stream on Netflix from Feb 8
Fans of Ajith are super happy with the result of Thunivu. The film is still running successfully at the theaters in Tamil Nadu as distributors are not ready to remove it from the theaters.

Ajith Kumar starrer `Thunivu’ had a blockbuster run at the box office this Sankranti. Directed by H Vinoth, the film was produced by Boney Kapoor and has Manju Warrier playing a lead role.
Fans of Ajith are super happy with the result of Thunivu. The film is still running successfully at the theaters in Tamil Nadu as distributors are not ready to remove it from the theaters.
Meanwhile, the makers have sold the digital rights to Netflix. The film is all set to stream from February 8. While the Tamil version is ready to be streamed, there is no word about the streaming date for the Telugu version.
Thunivu is based on a bank robbery. Three gangs enter a bank without knowledge about the existence of each other in the same bank at the same time. Ajith plays one of the gang leaders with Manju being his team member. Now, how these three gangs manage to rob the bank and win over each other is what forms the crux of the story.
On the other hand, Ajith has already begun working on his next film. AK62 is said to be directed by Vignesh Shivan who is an ardent fan of Ajith. As per the latest reports, Vignesh has been replaced by another director. Official announcement awaited from the makers.
