OU police books EFLU Vice Chancellor for stopping students from Republic Day celebration

The cops acted on a complaint filed by Porika Vikas, a student. Police booked the Vice-Chancellor, Professor T Samson (EFLU Registrar-in-Charge) and security persons under section 352, 341, 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code.
According to the student who is pursuing his 2nd year in Bachelor of Arts (Spanish), On Republic Day the complainant accompanied by his friend K Srinath ā a research scholar, tried to visit the EFLU campus via main gate 2 to attend the celebrations. However, the duo were stopped by the security personnel who cited the Vice-Chancellor E Suresh Kumar's instructions. "A group of security men grabbed me and pressed my private parts intending to kill me. They lifted me and threw me near the university library. The guard used vulgar language, demanding us to get out. Further, Gajula Kumar and Karnati Srinath along with other students of the EFLU requested the men to permit me to join the celebrations, but all in vain" the student said.
She further alleged that, In the past, The VC has been vengeful towards them and holds a grudge because they disagree with him and also questioned him about his violation of constitutional provisions on the campus. "The worst part is that he was using the Republic Day celebration platform of the university as a means to threaten them by clearly indicating that the efforts of constitutional bodies to ensure social justice to faculty and students as a "toy gun" that cannot affect him".
Responding to the incident, a member of the National Commission for Backward Classes (NCBC) said, "The VC's Republic Day speech turned out to be a warning speech to the Members of (NCBC). In the middle of the speech, in front of a large assembly of professors and non-teaching staff, the VC went into a frenzy and reproved the Members of the Commission as, "People who are using toy guns should stop using them, be realistic, and one day you realize that you are childish, not childlike. If you are childlike, it's a welcome sign. If you are childish, then you will have to be reprimanded, you will have to be taught a lesson very soon". This is provocative".
