The yatra will be joined by senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi.
The yatra, scheduled from October 28 to November 2, will cover two to three ACs every day and will witness cohort interactions, corner meetings and padayatras by the Congress leadership. AC-level issues, INC Abhayahastham guarantee schemes and the failures of BRS will be highlighted during the course of the yatra.
The party will also run a sub-campaign aimed at collecting grievances and issues from the public through the yatra and other standalone events with an assurance that the grievances will be addressed within 100 days of the party coming to power.
Objectives of the yatra
The various objectives of the yatra are to promote Congress' six guarantees for the development of the state and fortify the sentiment that Congress delivers as promised, project TPCC leadership as united and accessible, and listen to peopleās grievances and assure them of support from the imminent Congress government.
The party also plans to re-enforce anti-incumbency against the BRS government and contrast with good governance by the previous INC government, fuel the momentum building up in favour of the party, and run a grassroots campaign by reconnecting with the voters and energising the cadre.
Congressā grievance collection campaign
During the course of the yatra, the Congress party will launch a grievance collection campaign to demonstrate its commitment to citizen-centric governance. As part of this initiative, the party will install suggestion boxes at all Congress party offices across every district, establish a dedicated toll-free number, and launch a website where people can register their grievances.
Party leaders plan to press upon their commitment that when they come to power they will institute a specialised Grievance Redressal Ministry that will be entrusted with the task of addressing the concerns collected through these channels within a timeframe of 100 days.
