This created a buzz in the political parties in Andhra Pradesh.
Sources from the TDP told NewsMeter that the political strategist is meeting former CM and TDP supremo Nara Chandrababu Naidu in his residence in Undavalli. It was the IPAC team that strategised the YSRCP elections in 2019 and Prashanth Kishore played a key role.
The meeting is also likely to push many YSRCP supporters on edge as Prashanth Kishor played a strategic role in bringing Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to power in AP.
It is also pertinent to note that Prashant Kishoreās teammate Robin Sharma has been working for the TDP party for some time now. When asked TDP sources if Prasanth Kishor is supporting the party, they told NewsMeter that he is likely to come in support of TDP for the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections.
The TDPās election works seem to have begun with these strategy meetings and Nara Lokesh seemingly the bridge between bringing a strategist on board. All eyes on the meeting between former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Prashanth Kishore. The development comes four months ahead of the Legislative and General elections.
Kishor has successfully worked with several other political parties in India including Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections.
Kishor has worked as a political strategist for the BJP to gain knowledge then he worked for the BJP, JD(U), INC, AAP, YSRCP, DMK and TMC. His first major political campaign was in 2011 to help Narendra Modi, then Chief Minister of Gujarat get re-elected to the CM office for a third time in the Gujarat Assembly Elections 2012.
However, he came to wider public attention when Citizens for Accountable Governance (CAG), an election campaign group he conceptualised, helped the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) win an absolute majority in the 2014 Lok Sabha election.
