Massive protest rocks Chikkadpally as 23YO dies by suicide
Repeated delays and cancellation of Groups examination are suspected to be reason for the girl to take the drastic step, protestors stated.

Repeated delays and cancellation of Groups examination is suspected to be the reason for the girl to take the drastic step, protestors stated.
Amid protests, a suicide note has surfaced states an apology (it is yet to confirm if is the girl who wrote it) to her parents before taking the extreme step.
The student has been residing at Brindavan Hostel located in Ashok Nagar falling under Chikkapally limits. Her death resulted in massive protests by Telangana State Public Service aspirants, demanding justice. Anti-BRS and anti-KCR slogans filled the air at the protest site.
Protesters held the ruling BRS government responsible for her death. Massive bandhobust has been set up in Ashok Nagar. Protestors on the ground say, the girl was upset over repeated cancellations of groups exams.
When NewsMeter reached out to the Hyderabad Commissioner IPS Sandeep Shandilya, he said- I am aware of the incident. We are looking into it.
Chikkadpally police says, the death has been reported but the reason is not known.
A day ago, the Telangana high court sought to know from the state government the status of the probe being done by the special investigation team (SIT) into the TSPSC question paper leak case and also the name of the officer who is currently heading it.
The Telangana State Public Service Commission has rescheduled the TSPSC Group 2 exam for January 6 and January 7, 2024. The exam was originally scheduled for November 2 and November 3, 2023, but was postponed due to the general assembly elections in Telangana.
