Hyderabad: A 38-year old man who was bitten by rodents two days ago reportedly died on Friday night.

He was undergoing treatment at the Respiratory Intensive Care Unit (RICU) of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Hospital (MGMH), Warangal, when the incident occurred. He was later shifted to NIMS in Hyderabad for better treatment on April 1.

Later the government suspended two doctors and Hospital Superintendent Dr. B Srinivas Ra. The hospital superintendent was replaced by Dr. Chandrashekar. After the incident, Warangal District Additional Collector Srivastava inspected the RICU and sought clarification from the hospital superintendent regarding the rat menace.
