Revanth cancels tenure extension/appointment of advisors to government

Telangana: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, in a government order on Saturday, has rescinded (cancelled) the extension of tenure of some of the advisors to the CM. The GO also contained names of government officials whose appointments have been cancelled.

Here is the list of government officials whose tenure extension has been cancelled.

1. Dr Rajiv Sharma, IAS (Retd) as the chief advisor to the government.

2. Anurag Sharma, IPS (Retd), as an advisor to Police, Law & Order and Crime Control.

3. AK Khan, IPS (Retd) as an advisor to Minorities Welfare.

4. GR Reddy, IES (Retd) as an advisor of Finance.

Here is the list of government officials whose appointment has been cancelled.

5. R Sobha, IFS (Retd), as an advisor to Forest Affairs

6. Somesh Kumar, IAS (Retd) as the chief advisor to the CM

7. Dr Chennamaneni Ramesh, MLA, as chief advisor of Agriculture

The orders issued in the GO will come into effect from December 7.
