Revanth: KCR will send Kavitha to jail for sympathy; BRS, BJP in partnership for polls
KCR has made an agreement with Modi to put Kavitha in Tihar jail to gain sympathy of masses says Revanth Reddy
By Kaniza Garari Published on 17 Sep 2023 5:59 AM GMTHyderabad: Hinting again at a pact between Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Bharath Rashtra Samithi (BRS), Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy stated that the BRS invested in liquor from the illegal money obtained from the Kaleshwaram project. He said that both parties are criticising Congress to cover up their mistakes.
Addressing the media after the Congress Working Committee meeting, Revanth Reddy said, āKCR hopes to win the Assembly elections by gaining sympathy for his daughter Kavitha. KCR will get his daughter arrested to win the Assembly elections. KCR has made an agreement with Modi to put Kavitha in Tihar jail to gain the sympathy of the masses. KCR and Modi are helping each other.ā
Revanth Reddy alleged that the Enforcement Directorate's notice to MLC K Kavitha was only to gain sympathy for the BRS.
Restrictions for Thukkuguda public meeting
Alleging that some police officials were behaving like BRS activists, Reddy asked, āBJP is holding a meeting at Parade Ground, AIMIM in Old City and the BRS in Public Gardens. Why are they not being subjected to any restrictions? Why is the Congress party being restricted? What is the reason for it?ā
The public meeting in Thukkuguda is going to see a large gathering, said Reddy, who is confident that people from across Telangana will come to listen to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi. The six election guarantees are going to be released by the Congress party at the public meeting.
Alleging that all the three major parties in Telangana ā BJP, BRS and MIM ā are working together to defeat the Congress party, Reddy said, āEvidence of their togetherness is in front of the people. They have their meetings in Hyderabad, while the Congress party has been asked to go to the outskirts.ā
