Revanth Reddy, ministers visit KCR at Yashoda Hospital, wish for a speedy recovery

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, accompanied by other ministers and Congress leaders, including Seethakka and Shabbir Ali, visited Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda to check upon the health of former chief minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief, K Chandrashekar Rao. After speaking to the doctors at the hospital and others present, he wished KCR a speedy recovery.

KCR was rushed to the hospital in the early hours of Friday after sustaining injuries in a fall at his Erravalli farmhouse.

Sources from the hospital reported that Rao suffered a hip bone fracture. On December 9, he underwent a hip replacement surgery successfully. As per some reports, the incident might have occurred as Rao was tying his pancha, though specific details about the fall remain undisclosed.

This development follows the recent electoral setback for BRS in the Telangana Legislative Assembly Elections, where the Indian National Congress, led by A Revanth Reddy, secured a significant victory.

Revanth meets KTR; PM prays for KCRā€™s health

During the hospital visit, CM Revanth Reddy discussed KCR's health with KT Rama Rao, BRS working president and KCRā€™s son. The CM sought updates on the former CMā€™s recovery progress and expressed his concerns about KCRā€™s health.

KCRā€™s health also prompted a response from prime minister Narendra Modi, who expressed his distress on social media. ā€œDistressed to know that former Telangana CM Shri KCR Garu has suffered an injury. I pray for his speedy recovery and good health,ā€ the PM posted on his X account.

As K Chandrashekar Rao undergoes medical evaluation after the hip surgery, political figures and the public await updates on his health.
