Revanth Reddy orders immediate transfer of Rythu Bandhu funds into farmers' accounts
Revanth Reddy directed the officials concerned to take stringent measures to curb the drug menace in the state.

On Monday, Revanth Reddy chaired a comprehensive review meeting to assess the ongoing initiatives and plans of the Agriculture Department.
The chief minister, who reviewed the functioning of the Agriculture Department and its various roles and responsibilities with senior officials on Monday, discussed the implementation of the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the stateās welfare initiative supporting farmersā investment into cultivating crops.
Congress welfare for farmers
In its poll manifesto ahead of the Telangana Assembly Election, the Congress had promised six guarantees which include Rythu Bharosa. Under Rythu Bharosa, farmers will get Rs 15,000 per acre every year; Rs 12,000 per year for agricultural labour; and a bonus of Rs 500 per year for paddy crops.
As per the promise given by their government, the chief minister directed the officials concerned to prepare an action plan for the waiver of crop loans up to Rs 2 lakh availed of by farmers.
Praja Vani every Tuesday and Friday
The chief minister ordered that the Praja Darbar, which is currently being held at Jyoti Rao Phule Praja Bhavan, should be called Praja Vani. The program will be held from 10 am to 1 pm every Tuesday and Friday. The CM ordered separate queues to be set up for the differently-abled and women.
In another meeting, Revanth Reddy directed the officials concerned to take stringent measures to curb the drug menace in the state. The CM asked for the appointment of a full-fledged director to the existing Telangana State Anti-Narcotics Bureau and to strengthen the department.
He asked the officials to take steps to see that adequate funds were allocated to the bureau in addition to providing the required facilities.
