Scary storms are seen in the districts of Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, and Kakinada

Many parts of the state witnessed thunderstorm activity and heavy rains in the wee hours of Monday. The rains are a prelude to monsoon showers.
Heavy thunderstorm activity was witnessed in the Badvel - Jammalamadugu belt of Kadapa, Nandyal, Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Rajahmundry districts. According to Andhra Pradesh Weatherman, several parts of Visakhapatnam and Anakapalle witnessed high-intensity bolts of lightning and heavy rains with a wind speed up to 70 kmph. Paderu, Hukumpeta, Araku, and other agency areas have been witnessing heavy rains.
Some areas witnessed thunderstorm activity for at least 40 minutes. Weather experts took to Instagram and Twitter asking people to stay indoors. Social media platforms have been flooded with photos and videos shared by users.
Scariest Storm
According to Andhra Pradesh Weatherman Praneeth, they haven't seen such a scariest storm in the state in the last few years. He said thunderstorms struck at 250 KA. "Lightning strikes are coming within 1 second with high frequency. These scary storms are seen in the districts of Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, and Kakinada", said Praneeth.
Cloudburst rains and Scary Thunderstorms surrounding entire Kakinada city with Heavy rains and winds. Some Thunderstorms are striking at 250 kA (Which is abnormal powerful Storm).
