Saidabad rape accused Pallakonda Raju ends life; body found at station Ghanpur railway track

Hyderabad: Saidabad rape accused Pallakonda Raju was found dead on 16th September morning near Rajaram- Station Ghanpur railway track of Jangaon district. His body was identified with a help of tattoos on both his hands that read "Mounika". Telangana's Director General of Police and Minister of IT and MAUD K.T Rama Rao have confirmed his death. Reacting to the incident, the victim's father has demanded the cops to show the family his body.
The Telangana police had launched a major man haunt for the past 7 days, ending on 16th September, 2021. According to the CCTV camera's the accused was last spotted on the outskirts of Hyderabad.
On September 9th , a 6 year old went missing at Saidabad. Later, after a massive search, the body of the girl, who went missing from her house, was found in Raju's house at Saidabad. Main accused Raju is suspected of having lured the girl by offering her chocolates when she was playing near her house. He reportedly took her to his house located in the same neighborhood. He first raped and later killed her.
The Saidabad police have booked a case under Sections 376(1) and 302 for rape and murder. Raju was also booked under the POCSO Act 2012.
The incident triggered outrage among the residents and the rest of Hyderabad.
