Sale deeds cancelation: TS HC summons Ranga Reddy Collector, others for not filing affidavit

Telangana High Court has summoned District Collector, Ranga Reddy, Tahsildar Shamshabad and Sub Registrar, Shamshabad, and others for not filing a counter affidavit despite being given ample time.
Hearing the batch of writ petitions, Justice Sudheer Kumar said no counter affidavit has been filed on multiple hearings. He asked concerned higher officials to appear before the court for failing to file the counter.
The petitions were filed by different individuals and construction companies complaining that the Sub Registrar, Shamshabad, has unilaterally canceled the previously registered sale deeds with respect to the petitioners' property situated at Bahadurguda.
The matter has been adjourned to December 16.
