Over 100 police personnel were deployed at Dhulipalla's residence at Chintalapudi in Guntur district. ACB has unearthed irregularities in Sangam Dairy, which is headed by Dhulipalla.
Having found irregularities, the ACB booked Dhulipalla under sections 45, 120B, 408, 409, 418, and 420 of the IPC. Post the arrest, the accused was shifted to Bapatla. ACB would be presenting him before the magistrate. ACB has also served notices to Dhulipalla's wife under section 50(2) of CrPC.
Dhulipalla is the former Chairman of Guntur District Milk Producers Cooperative Union Limited and Guntur District Milk Producers Mutually Aided Cooperative Union Limited. Condemning Dhulipalla's arrest, TDP said chief minister YS Jagan Reddy's government is not stopping revengeful politics. "How come Dhulipalla be arrested without even serving notices? This is a clear case of misuse of power by the Jagan government," TDP leaders said.
