Secunderabad: Major fire broke out at Ruby electric-bike showroom, 6 suffered burn injuries

Chandana Deepti, DCP North Zone confirmed that eight people have lost their lives in the fire accident. The reason behind the fire is to be ascertained, North Zone Deputy Commissioner of police told NewsMeter.
Fire broke out in a building housing an electric bike showroom at the ground floor and Ruby lodge on the top floors. Within no time, fire engulfed the building resulting in a thick smoke screen. Those lodged at Ruby guest house ran for cover, while few attempted to jump.
One fire extinguisher from Secunderabad division was pressed in to action, while the traffic came to a still . "No deaths reported so far, said North zone DCP Chandana Deepthi.
