Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) EO Dharma Reddy's son Chandramouli Reddy passed away in Chennai hospital three days after he suffered cardiac arrest.
The 28-year-old suffered a massive cardiac arrest on December 18 and was admitted to Kauvery Hospital in critical condition.
On December 18, Chandramouli was in Chennai to distribute his wedding cards, scheduled to be held in January. He suffered cardiac arrest while traveling to his relative's place in the car.
He was brought to the emergency room after the cardiac arrest. CPR was immediately performed, and the patient was shifted to the cath lab. ECMO was initiated, and a stent was placed in a completely occluded coronary artery. Since then, he is said to be in an extremely critical stage of multiple organ support.
It was a shock for the family members, who were in a happy mood preparing for his son's wedding in January with the daughter of TTD Chennai Advisory Council President AJ Shekhar Reddy.
His body will be shifted to his native place Nandikotturu, in the Kurnool district
