Hyderabad: Telangana High Court on Tuesday set aside the orders of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) that enabled Somesh Kumar to continue as Chief Secretary of the state.
Chief Justice Ujwal Bhuyan quashes the CAT order dated March 29, 2016, allotting Somesh Kumar IAS to Telangana.
Somesh Kumar was assigned to Andhra Pradesh by the Center during the bifurcation of the State. Earlier, the CAT had given orders to stop the Center's orders and continue in Telangana.
Somesh Kumar continued in Telangana with CAT interim orders.
In 2017, the Center approached the Telangana High Court to quash the CAT order.
CS Someshkumar's allocation to Telangana has been cancelled.

Somesh Kumar's Counsel, requested the Court to Suspend the Orders Execution for 3 weeks.
The CJ Bench rejected Counsels plea and did not give any time.
Mr Somesh Kumar will have to approach the Supreme Court challenging the Telangana High Court's verdict.
The CJ Bench directed Somesh Kumar to go and join in AP cadre as soon as the copy of the verdict is received.
