Hyderabad: Hyderabad and Secunderabad are wearing a festive look in a run to Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta in Ayodhya.

A series of programs are being organized by various Hindu organizations to celebrate the beginning of Rama Rajyam.

Temples and roads in Hyderabad decked up for Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta:

Foolproof arrangements have been made across the Lord Shri Rama and Lord Anjaneya temples in the twin cities. A series of spiritual events have been planned for January 22. At several parts of Hyderabad including Goshamahal, MJ Market, Abids, and Nampally huge banners were erected on the roadside and buildings marking the Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta celebrations.

Krishna Dharma Parishad to host Rama Rajyam celebrations at Necklace Road:

Krishna Dharma Parishad founded by T Abhisek Goud, son of Patancheru former MLA T Nandeswar Goud, will host Rama Rajyam celebrations near Prasad Multiplex beside Dr. BR Ambedkar statue, Necklace Road on January 22. The program will begin at 4:30 pm.

Team RTC Colony to take procession on January 22

Apart from Hindu organizations, Team RTC Colony Youth Association located in Trimulgherry in Secunderabad is taking a procession of Lord Sri Ram starting from Hanuman temple, Lalamiya Basthi to Ganesh pandal at Road number 2 to celebrate the grand inauguration of the Ayodhya temple. The procession will begin at 10 am, which will also be followed by the distribution of Maha Prasadam and Anna Prasadam to the devotees.

Locals in old city confine themselves to stay from controversies:

In the old city, especially in Goshamahal, MJ Market, Koti, Abids, and Sulthan Bazar where Hindu organizations have erected huge banners marking Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta celebrations.

People have two different views in the Old City about Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta. However, they have decided not to openly make statements and stay away from controversies.

On the other hand, a section of Jamats across the country asked the Muslim community people not to travel to the northern part of India between January 18 and February 10 as karsevaks will travel to Ayodhya.

The Jamats also asked the people to refrain themselves from making any controversial statements about Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta anywhere and even on social media platforms or any gatherings in the country.

Rameshwar Lal, who runs a hardware store at Goshamahal said that a series of events were planned on Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta day in their locality. “It is a much-awaited moment and should be celebrated with devotional fervor. I will distribute sweets and food to the poor in and around my store marking the celebrations. Apart from that, clothes will also be distributed to the poor and children in the locality,” he said.

No scope for communal disturbances in GoshaMahal:

Speaking to News Meter, Goshamahal MLA T Raja Singh Lodh ruled out the possibility of communal disturbances. “GoshaMahal is considered as Mini India and all sections of people will support the celebrations of Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta without giving any scope for communal harmony,” he said.

Raja Singh said that special arrangements were being made by the people in GoshaMahal to conduct a series of programs marking Ram Mandir Prana Pratishtha in Ayodhya on January 22. Annadanam will be offered to the poor. A section of people is arranging LED screens to provide live streaming of Prana Pratishta programs to devotees and offering special Harathi at Lord Sri Rama temples in the evening.

“Following the call given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for cleanliness in the temples as part of the Swachh Teerth movement, I am also participating in the movement in the constituency ahead of the Ram Mandir Prana Pratishta,” Raja Singh added.
