SSR 2023: Telangana has over 2.99 cr registered voters
Telangana has a total of 2,99,92,941 registered voters, of which 1,50,48,250 are male voters, 1,49,24,718 are female voters, and 1,951 are third gender voters. The final roster also includes 2,740 NRI electors and 15,282 service electors, according to Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj.

Telangana has a total of 2,99,92,941 registered voters, of which 1,50,48,250 are male voters, 1,49,24,718 are female voters, and 1,951 are third gender voters. The final roster also includes 2,740 NRI electors and 15,282 service electors, according to Telangana Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj.
As a result of various interventions, 6,84,408 new voters were added to the rolls while 2,72,418 voters were removed. Enrollment of young voters between the ages of 18 and 19 increased to 2,78,650 from 83,207 in the previous SSR 2022. A total of 2,808 new Thoti, Kollam, Kondareddi, and Chenchus PVTGs were recruited. A total of 3,55,828 women and 312 transgender people were added. In addition, a total of 20,246 forms were received from electors over the age of 17, which will be processed in due course.
During SSR 2022, the final roll, which was issued on 5 January 2022, had 3,03,56,894 electors. Mr. Raj said that voter enrolment is a continuous process and that eligible citizens who were unable to apply during SSR 2023 can now apply through the NVSP website, voter helpline app, or submit their filled-in forms to the BLOs. Their applications will be processed as part of the continuous updation, he added. Similarly, Form 8 can be used to update the address and other information.
No voter left out
According to Mr. Raj, substantial Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) initiatives were carried out in collaboration with several government departments, resulting in the receipt of nearly 12 lakh application forms.
He said that in order to ensure that no elector is left out, multiple interventions under Systematic Voter Enrolment and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) targeting diverse stakeholders were implemented.
Election Literacy Clubs (ELC) were held at around 1,700 institutions to target voters in the 18-19-year age bracket. Campus ambassadors were appointed and SMS alerts were sent to students.
Meetings of political parties were held at each level and a list of claims and objections in Form 9, 10, 11, 11A, and 11B was turned over to them on a weekly basis as part of transparency measures. A copy of the document was also made available on the CEO and DEO websites.
AP voters list
Andhra Pradesh has a total of 3,99,84,868 registered voters. Of them 2,02,19,104 are female and 2,01,32,271 are male voters. There are 68,182 service voters in Andhra Pradesh.
