Telangana cop hides bribe money in pipeline, wash areas; gets caught by ACB

From police officers to babus, ACB has launched a drive to make Telangana a corruption-free state.
Sample this: Banala Ramu, Sub Inspector of Police, Palvoncha Town Police Station, Bhadradri Kothagudem district was caught red-handed by the ACB officials in his house when he demanded Rs. 20,000 from Kadapakonda Laxma Reddy, an advocate for filing of the charge sheet.
ACB sleuths found the bribe amount concealed in the enclosure between the pipeline and the outer wall of the house in the wash area of Ramuās house. The advocateās client Seerem Sravani complained with the police station in connection with the case. Khammam-Kothagudem ACB DSP Y Ramesh and the team trapped the SI.
The left-hand fingers and the contact portion between the house wall and the wastewater pipe in Ramuās house wash area also yielded a positive result in the chemical test. The SI was arrested and produced before the third additional session judge for APE and ACB cases in Warangal.
Parkal sub-registrar caught red-handed
In another incident, Sub-registrar Parkal (Warangal district) Kandala Sunitha and private document writer B Naresh were caught red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 80,000 from a person to process the work of registration of gift deeds and sale deeds.
The complainant identified as Lade Srinivas had approached the sub-registrar for the registration of gift deeds and sale deeds. The bribe amount of Rs 80,000 was recovered from the possession of B Naresh at his instance. The fingers of both hands of Naresh yielded positive results in the Chemical test.
Kandala Sunitha and Naresh were arrested and produced before the III additional sessions judge for SPE & ACB Cases, Warangal. The case is under investigation, according to a press release issued by the ACB.
Narayanpet surveyor in ACB Net.
A surveyor at Tahsildar and joint sub-registrar office in Makthal mandal of Narayanpet district was caught red-handed while he was demanding and accepting a bribe amount of Rs 9,000 to draft a land survey panchnama report of his father-in-law. The accused has been identified as G Balaji.
The complainant was identified as E Shravan, a native of Narayanpet district. He approached the surveyor for a land survey panchnama report of his father-in-law and submitted the same to the Tahsildar. The bribe amount of Rs 9,000 was recovered from the possession of G Balaji at his instance and the fingers of both hands tested positive in a chemical test.
Thus, the accused officer performed his duty improperly and dishonestly to obtain undue advantage, the police said. Balaji was arrested and produced before the first additional special judge for SPE and ACB Cases Court, Nampally, Hyderabad. The case is under investigation.
The police urge the public to call 1064 (toll-free number) to report any public servant asking for a bribe.
