Telangana DG Vigilance & Enforcement Rajiv Ratan dies of heart attack
1991-batch officer earlier served as managing director of Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Ltd
By Newsmeter Network Published on 9 April 2024 9:23 AM ISTHyderabad: DG Vigilance & Enforcement Rajiv Ratan of Telangana passed away due to a massive heart attack on Tuesday morning.
On Monday morning, he suffered chest pain and the family admitted him to AIG Hospitals. He died while undergoing treatment.
A 1991-batch officer, he earlier served as managing director of Telangana State Police Housing Corporation Ltd, Operations IG, and Karimnagar SP. He was a sincere and efficient in discharging his duties in his entire career in the police department. Recently, the senior police official headed the vigilance and enforcement inquiry, appointed by the government, on the Medigadda barrage.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy remembered the remarkable services rendered by the departed IPS officer to the police department in the state for a long time. The CM said that the Telangana Society will remember the senior police official who performed the duties efficiently and honestly.
