Union Home Minister Amit Shah would arrive in the state on January 28 to propel BJP’s campaign.
BJP aiming for majority Lok Sabha seats in 2024
BJP won Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, and Secunderabad seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections and posed a threat to Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and Congress. This time too, the BJP leadership is expecting to continue the same spirit and win the majority of seats in the Lok Sabha elections.
Amith Shah will embark whirlwind tour in three districts
On January 28, Amit Shah will embark on a whirlwind tour of the state that will cover three districts– Hyderabad, Mahabubnagar, and Karimnagar. The Union Home Minister will arrive in Begumpet, Hyderabad on a special flight at 1 pm on Sunday.
From there, Amit Shah will proceed to Mahabubnagar and interact with the party cadre of Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, and Nalgonda parliamentary constituencies. During the meeting, Amit Shah will brief the cadres about the strategies to be followed to win the three parliamentary constituencies.
Amit Shah to address 20,000 party workers in Karimnagar
Union Home Minister will address around 20,000 party workers at SRR college grounds In Karimnagar. He will discuss the approach that needs to be taken to retain the seat that Bandi Sanjay won in the last election. Amit Shah will then proceed to Hyderabad and address the prominent women leaders and sensitize them about the prominence of 33 percent reservation for women in both the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
BJP to discuss manifesto with experts and educationalists
Later, Amit Shah will also participate in a meeting with experts from various fields, thinkers, and educationists in the Secunderabad parliamentary constituency. During the meeting, the Union Home Minister will discuss the manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. After the meeting, Amit Shah will leave for New Delhi from Begumpet Airport.
Tough battle between BJP and Congress in Telangana
Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay said that the upcoming Lok Sabha election will witness a tough battle between the BJP and the Congress in Telangana. He said BRS will be confined to the third position.
“The BJP leadership is aiming to win the parliamentary elections and form the government at the center for the third time. Along with the Modi mania, the BJP leaders will take many critical issues to the people”, he said and added that the party leadership is working to field key leaders in Telangana Lok Sabha seats and soon the candidates will be announced.
