Telangana Govt will collapse: Vijaysai Reddy attacks CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad: A day after chief minister A Revanth Reddy made a scathing attack on Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy about Nagarjuna Sagar, YSRCP MP V Vijayasai Reddy stated that it is only a matter of time before the Telangana Congress government will collapse.

During the Rajya Sabha session on Monday, the MP called the Congress party as ‘Dhoke Baaj party.’

“After speaking many lies, they have come to power 10 years after the state was divided. The Congress wanted to come to power in Andhra Pradesh by promising special status, but the public shunned them. By 2029, India will be Congress-mukth Bharat,” said Vijayasai Reddy.

‘People of Andhra don’t trust Congress’

He said that the people of Andhra Pradesh have learned never to trust Congress. “I can say that the Congress party is spineless. The number of votes the Congress party got in the Andhra Pradesh 2019 elections proves how much the people trust them,” the MP said.

“At the national level too, the downfall of the Congress party is very clear. Even their own allies in the INDIA bloc are saying Congress will not get even 40 seats in the 2024 elections in April,” said the MP. He stated that Rahul Gandhi would lose from wherever he would contest.

On Sunday, in a media conference, Revanth Reddy said that Telangana had high-handedness on all the projects on the Krishna River. He said that former chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao, after he came to power, surrendered himself to YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for commissions and made Telangana a deserted area through Pothireddypadu, Muchumarri and RLIP.

Revanth Reddy questioned why KCR didn’t question Jagan when the police were deployed at Nagarjuna Sagar on the polling day and why no question was raised regarding projects being handed over to the KRMB. He challenged YS Jagan to step in and occupy the Nagarjuna Sagar dam and said that the government is ready to conduct discussions on projects.

Revanth Reddy also invited KCR, KT Rama Rao, Harish Rao and Kavitha Kalvakuntla to join the discussions to disclose the facts to the people of Telangana.
