Congress claims final voters list outnumber actual eligible voters in the state
Meanwhile, G Niranjan, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) senior vice president and chairman, Election Commission Coordination Committee issued a press release whereby he said, despite their objections and request to the EC for postponement of publication of final voters list till the disposal of all applications and removal of death, multiple and shifted voters, it is unfortunate that the Election Commission (EC) has published the final voters list.
āThe Congress party had submitted in detail about the discrepancies in the voters list. The final voters list announced today comprises several anomalies.
The final voters list of 3,17,17,389 voters published on Wednesday is in fact more than the actual voters in the state. The Congress Party will conduct a survey on the final voters list and find out the discrepancies and move to the High Court for Justice,ā he said.
