Telangana hikes life tax on transport, non-transport vehicles; check new slabs

Hyderabad: Telangana government has increased the life tax on transport and non-transport vehicles under the Motor Vehicle Act.

This was published on the official website of the government.

The hike is aimed at improving the road infrastructure, the government said.

Non-transport passenger vehicles to be taxed at 18% for first ownership & 20% for second or more personal vehicles. Other categories see hikes up to 2%.
