Telangana National Integration Day celebrations on September 17th will be observed at Public Gardens where the national flag will be hoisted by chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao will hoist the national flag at public gardens on 17 September.
The Chief Minister will also inaugurate Banjara and Adivasi Bhavans. A huge rally will be held from Necklace Road in which artists performing around 30 different art forms like Gussadi, Gond and Lambadi dance forms will also participate, informed chief secretary Somesh Kumar. The 75th anniversary of Indian independence also marks the shift in Telangana state from from monarchy to democray. This will be observed as 'Telangana National Integration Day' by the state government.
On 3rd September, the State Cabinet decided to make a grand celebration of the diamond jubilee year for three days on September 16, 17 and 18 this year. The closing ceremony of the diamond jubilee year will be organized for three days on September 16, 17 and 18 in 2023.
In view of the Telangana National Integration Day celebrations, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar held a meeting with officials at BRKR Bhavan on Wednesday and reviewed the arrangements.
He directed the officials to make elaborate arrangements to make the programme a grand success.
Somesh Kumar also stated that mass rallies with students, youth and women should be held in all the assembly constituencies on the 16th. Similarly, he instructed that cultural programmes should be held in all the district headquarters on the 18th.
GAD Secretary Sheshadri, Secretary PR&RD Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Secretary Textiles Jyothi Buddha Prakash, Secretary Tribal Welfare Christina Z Chongthu, Secretary TR&B Srinivasa Raju, Secretary Finance Sri Ronald Rose, Protocol Additional Secretary Arvinder Singh, Commissioner PR&RD Sri Hanmantha Rao and other officials attended the meeting.
