Telangana Rising Summit to Lionel Messi cameo: Congress to celebrate 2nd anniversary on Dec 9

Hyderabad: Congress government has announced major plans to celebrate its second anniversary on December 9.

Telangana Rising 2047 Summit will be held in Future City to mark the second anniversary of the Congress government. Celebrations are also planned in districts from December 1 to 6.

Schedule for districts

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka gave out the schedule in the districts:

• December 1: Makthal, erstwhile Mahabubnagar district

• December 2: Kothagudem, erstwhile Khammam district

• December 3: Husnabad, erstwhile Warangal district

• December 4: Adilabad district headquarters

• December 5: Narsampet, erstwhile Warangal district

• December 6: Devarakonda, erstwhile Nalgonda district

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will be the chief guest at each of these district-level events, and there will also be participation by local ministers, MLAs, MLCs, and MPs, said Bhatti Vikramarka.

Visit to Osmania University

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will also visit Osmania University and lay the foundation stone for development works. There is also to be a discussion with intellectuals on key issues related to the education system.

Telangana Rising Global Summit

December 8: The Telangana government will showcase its governance achievements and the development-welfare programs implemented over the past two years of Indiramma Rajyam.

December 9: The highlight will be the release of a Vision Documentary outlining the roadmap to transform Telangana into a Three Trillion Dollar Economy.

The summit will host distinguished leaders and global achievers from various sectors across India and the world to witness the unveiling of the Telangana Vision.

Lionel Messi Invited to Hyderabad

In a major announcement aimed at showcasing Telangana on the world stage, the government has invited global football legend Lionel Messi to Hyderabad. A grand football match is scheduled to be held on December 13 at the Uppal Stadium.

Public can view Global Summit

The exhibition stalls set up for the Global Summit will be accessible to the public on December 11, 12, and 13. "Under the leadership of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, we have collectively prepared the 'Telangana Rising 2047' summit roadmap. As part of the celebrations marking two years of the Congress government in Telangana, we are presenting this roadmap before society," said Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
