Telangana sets $3 trillion economy goal by 2047; 154 global delegates, Governor to inaugurate Summit on Dec 8
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rising Global Summit – 2025, aimed at positioning Telangana as a $3 trillion economy by 2047, will be held on December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka announced on Saturday.
He described the event as a purely economic and strategic summit directly linked to the future of the state.
Governor to inaugurate, CM to deliver keynote
The summit will commence at 1:30 pm on December 8, with the inaugural address by Governor Jishnu Dev Varma. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will deliver the keynote address at 2:30 pm on the same day. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka will also address the gathering.
Vision 2047 document prepared with NITI Aayog & ISB Support
The long-term Vision 2047 policy roadmap, which forms the backbone of the summit, has been prepared with the guidance of NITI Aayog and ISB–Hyderabad. Bhatti Vikramarka said the document was drafted through collective efforts of the entire Cabinet under the leadership of the Chief Minister.

Global Economic thinkers on Day One
Several internationally renowned economists, policy experts and industry leaders will participate in the first day's proceedings. Key speakers on December 8 include:Economist Abhijit Banerjee, Eric Swider (Trump Media & Technology Group), Minister D Sridhar Babu, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, Nobel Laureate Kailash Satyarthi, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka.
Department-wise sessions from 3 pm
After the inaugural session, sector-wise departmental meetings will be conducted from 3 PM to 4 PM on December 8. These sessions will include respective Ministers, Principal Secretaries and subject experts, focusing on policy, investment and implementation strategies.
Similar sessions will continue on December 9 from 9 am, with the valedictory session scheduled at 6 pm. Details of the dignitaries attending the closing ceremony will be announced shortly.
154 foreign delegates from 44 countries
The summit will witness participation from 154 delegates representing 44 countries across six continents. Out of them, 46 delegates are from the United States alone, the Deputy CM revealed, highlighting the strong global interest in Telangana’s growth story.
Invitations extended to all Political Parties, States
Bhatti Vikramarka said that all political parties in Telangana have been invited to attend the summit. The Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and several Ministers have personally invited national leaders, while invitations have also been extended to all Indian states.
Investor-focused, future-oriented summit
Describing the conclave as a special and investor-centric economic summit, the Deputy CM said the primary objective is to attract large-scale global investments into Telangana. “This summit is directly connected to Telangana’s future and will significantly benefit the state’s long-term economic interests,” he said.
Special flight arrangements for VVIPs
Responding to queries on travel logistics, Bhatti Vikramarka expressed confidence that air connectivity issues would ease by the time of the summit. However, he assured that special flights will be arranged for key dignitaries if required.
Call for collective participation
The Deputy Chief Minister appealed to officials, stakeholders and the public to extend full cooperation to make the Telangana Rising Global Summit – 2025 a grand success.
