Temperatures drop across Telangana; Kohir records 10.2 degrees C

On the night of Jan 17, very low temperatures prevailed across the state. Kohir in Sangareddy recorded 11.5 degree Celsius. In the city, the lowest temperature of 13.4 degree Celsius was recorded at the University of Hyderabad.

Temperatures drop across Telangana; Kohir records 10.2 degrees C

Hyderabad: Night temperatures have dropped considerably across the state in the last few days. Kohir in the Sangareddy district recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 10.2 degree Celsius.

According to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS) data, Reddy Palle in Rangareddy recorded a temperature of 10.4 degree Celsius, Maraplle in Vikarabad recorded temperature of 10.7 degree Celsius, Nagaram in Vikarabad 11.2 degree Celsius, Nyalkal in Sangareddy 11.2 degree Celsius, Nallaveli in Sangareddy 11.4 degree Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Independent weather observer T Balaji noted that in the GHMC area, Rajendranagar recorded the lowest temperature of 13.2 degree Celsius. "By tomorrow (Jan 19), the temperature will drop as low as 10 degrees Celsius in North, West Telangana and up to 11-12 degrees Celsius in parts of Hyderabad," he tweeted on Jan 18.


Hyderabad weatherman, a private forecaster, said Rajendranagar recorded 12.3 degree Celsius, Ramachandrapuram-13.5 degree Celsius, Gachibowli-14.2 degree Celsius, Hayathnagar-14.3 degree Celsius, Marredpally-14.5 degree Celsius, Golconda 14.8 degree Celsius, and Saroornagar 15.2 degree Celsius of temperature on Wednesday morning.
