Three capitals Issue: It is Pawan Kalyans Jan Sena versus Jagans YSRCP

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh is likely to witness a new political battle as Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan announced a three-day `Uttarandhra tour' from Visakhapatnam. His tour coincided with the 'Visakha Garjana' protest to be held by the YSRCP party, in support of decentralization.

Visakha Garjana is proposed to be organized by the Joint Action Committee (JAC) to garner support for decentralization and to establish three capitals, one each at Amaravati, Visakhapatnam, and Kurnool.

The rally will begin from Ambedkar Statue in Daba Gardens and to the YSR statue on Beach Road. A meeting will be held at the beach road. Minister for Industries and IT Gudivada Amarnath has called upon people to make it a success. Amarnath said the program was evoking a good response from farmers, representatives of the Visakhapatnam Bar Association, trade unions, nursing staff, doctors, and government employees who expressed their support.

Jana Sena tour:

During the three-day tour starting October 15, Pawan Kalyan will hold meetings with his party leaders from North Andhra Pradesh including Vizag, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam. He will conduct Jana Sena-Jana Vani programme on October 16. During his tour, Pawan Kalyan will be receiving grievances and interacting with the public.

Pawan Kalyan took to Twitter to question the ruling party. He asked a series of questions highlighting the failures of the state government. "Declare AP as 'The United States of Andhra', and announce 25 districts as states and go for 25 capitals. Make AP YCP fiefdom. Please don't hesitate, feel free", Pawan Kalyan wrote in a sarcastic tweet.

PK trying to divert Garjana:

Reacting to Pawan Kalyan's tour, Minister for IT and Industries, Gudivada Amarnath said the actor-turned-politician is trying to divert the public. "But the YSRCP government will not make any compromises regarding the rights of the people of North Andhra. Pawan Kalyan obeys TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu. More than the remuneration received in the films, Pawan Kalyan receives more money from his political activities", said the IT Minister.

TDP meeting

TDP decided to hold a meeting in the Vizag office on 15 October. They have asked in-charges, MLA, former ZPTC members, and MP from North Andhra districts to attend the meeting. The meet is being held to discuss the development works done during the TDP regime. The party plans to go to the public with its developmental progress report.
