TS BJP renovates its Nampally head office over bad vastu

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party's head office located in Nampally is undergoing a major renovation. Bad vastu is said to be the reason for the demolition and reconstruction of the office.

Part of the BJP office that is located opposite the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department has been demolished and the main entrance has been shifted. Speaking to NewsMeter, Uma Shankar, in charge of the BJP offices, said, "Bad vastu and poor ventilation are primarily the reasons for the demolition. The main entrance door will be shifted and a few internal changes are being made. These changes have been long pending."

The BJP, as part of its Mission South, has been sharpening its axe against the TRS government. Calling TRA an anti-farmer and parivad party, the BJP has been increasing its attack on Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao and his family. The recent BJP attack involved naming TRS MLC K. Kavitha in the Delhi liquor policy scam. The BJP, on Sunday, alleged that Kavitha, who is Chief Minister KCR's daughter, played a crucial role in the multi-crore liquor policy scam involving Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has filed a case against Mr. Sisodia and others, including Hyderabad-based Arun Ramachandran Pillai, accusing them of indulging in financial irregularities in executing the new liquor policy for the national capital.

Manjinder Singh Sarsa, BJP's former MLA from Rajouri Garden constituency in the national capital, during a press conference alleged, "Kavitha facilitated the meetings at the Oberoi Hotel with liquor barons and paid Rs. 4.5 crore bribe to Sisodia to get a distillery in Punjab unsealed." In response, Kavitha publicly announced she would file a defamation suit against the saffron party's spokesperson. At a press conference held on Monday, she said, "We fought for the state of Telangana. We went on the roads to fight for it. We are not going to be cowed down by the baseless allegations of the Bharatiya Janata Party."

BJP's allegations about her involvement in the Delhi liquor policy scam are baseless, she said. "I am not involved. The Central government is using all in its power to accuse me and my family. We are going to fight it. We have fought on the streets for Telangana. We will fight these falsehoods too," Kavitha said. She said the BJP is indulging in partisan politics with Opposition parties across the country. "This is not a healthy practice. I am being defamed because the BJP fears KCR. They are worried that KCR is going to fight the Central government," she added.

Stating that KCR's dream is to develop India, she said, "Don't be afraid. The case of Bilkis Bano shows the real nature of the Central government. People are taking note of these things."
