Hyderabad: Yet again, revealing the rift between Pragathi Bhavan and Raj Bhavan, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Wednesday said that the state government was wrongly claiming that she was sitting on the six bills sent by the government.

Soundararajan said that the government was trying to degrade the Raj Bhavan office by projecting as if the Governor was blocking the process of recruitment.

Specifically mentioning about the Common Recruitment Board Bill, Soundararajan said, "I did not sit over it for 6-7 months like the government claims. I only took one month to clarify some of the doubts that I had in the bill."

"What is this need for a common recruitment board, what is the procedure that is going to be followed for the formation of this board, who will be its chairman," Governor Soundararajan shared some of her doubts regarding the bill. She also said that she had written a letter to the Education Minister regarding the same.

Soundararajan said that she had interacted with the Vice Chancellors of various universities from 29 May to 29 June and also prepared a detailed report on each of the universities.

Raj Bhavan dragged into MLA Poaching Case

Governor Soundararajan said that the Raj Bhavan's name was dragged into the TRS MLA Poaching case. She said that on one of the official handles of the government, it was shared that theRaj Bhavan is involved. "No, this is a false allegation and the Raj Bhavan office is transparent," she said.

Further, she also expressed her doubts if her phone was being tapped.

Referring to the protests happening in front of Raj Bhavan, Governor reiterated that the Raj Bhavan doors were open unlike that of Pragathi Bhavan.

JNTU issue: Have ensured the best possible solution

She also said that she had visited the government schools and universities and they are in very bad shape. She said that she cannot tolerate multiple cases of food poisoning.

Regarding the JNTU issue on subject exemption, Soundararajan said that she has spoken to the VC of the university and has ensured that the best possible thing is done for the students
