Hyd firm employees held for circulating Tirumala drone video
TTD vigilance and security officials found out that a Hyderabad-based company was circulating the video on social media.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 21 Jan 2023 9:39 AM GMTTirupati: After a drone video showing the Tirumala temple hill abode of Lord Venkateswara went viral on social media, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) chairman Y.V Subbareddy has said strict action will be taken against those who are promoting such videos on social media.
A video is circulating on social media showing drone shots of Srivari Temple.
Speaking to the media, the TTD chairman said, āIt is not possible to fly airplanes or drones to hover over the Srivari Temple as it is prohibited according to Agama Shastras. Such incidents did not happen earlier. We have sent the video to the forensic lab for verification. We will take strict action against the culprits within the next two or three days.ā
He added, āBased on the forensic lab report, we will know whether the video was filmed by a drone or old photos were morphed and converted into 3D video.ā
TTD vigilance and security officials found out that a Hyderabad-based company was circulating the video on social media. The police have already taken the people of the organisation into custody and are interrogating them.
