UPSC results: Narayanpet SP’s daughter Uma Harathi bags AIR 3rd rank

Hyderabad: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the final results of the Civil Services Examination 2022. The results are now available on the official website. Continuing the trend from previous years, women candidates have once again dominated the top positions, showcasing their exceptional performance in the prestigious examination.

Ishita Kishore has secured the All India Rank (AIR) 1, followed closely by Garima Lohia at AIR 2, and Uma Harathi N secured All India Rank 3. Meanwhile, Smriti Mishra secured AIR 4. These talented women have displayed exemplary dedication and knowledge, earning them their well-deserved positions at the forefront of the Civil Services Examination.

Commission recommends 933 individuals

The Civil Services Examination 2022 commenced with the preliminary exam on June 5, 2022. The results for the preliminary exam were announced on June 22. The main examination took place from September 16 to September 25, and the results were declared on December 6. The interview phase concluded on May 18 after being conducted in three different phases.

A total of 11,35,697 candidates applied for the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2022, which took place on June 5, 2022. Out of these applicants, 5,73,735 candidates appeared for the examination.

Among the candidates, 13,090 individuals qualified to appear in the Written (Main) Examination held in September 2022.

After the Written (Main) Examination, a total of 2,529 candidates qualified for the Personality Test of the examination.

Out of the qualified candidates, the Commission recommended 933 individuals (613 men and 320 women) for appointment to various Services.

Hyderabad academy achieves outstanding results

The CSB IAS Academy in Hyderabad did exceptionally well in the UPSC Civil Services final exam. Under the guidance of director Balalatha, the academy secured an impressive tally of 18 ranks.

The ranks obtained by the candidates from CSB IAS Academy are as follows: 22, 40, 200, 217, 222, 285, 384, 410, 460, 510, 558, 583, 593, 640, 759, 801, 827, and 885. It is expected that the number of successful candidates will increase further as more details become available.

The rankers praised the dedicated efforts and effective training methods of director Balalatha and credited her guidance for their success in the civil services interview.

Director Balalatha expressed her joy and pride and said, “I am delighted by the remarkable performance of Telugu candidates at the national level. It fills me with pride to have contributed over 100 civil servants to our country in the past seven to eight years through our academy. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who has played a part in making these achievements possible.”
