'Vaikunta Dwara Darshan' : Here is detailed guide and list of ticket counters
With limited accommodation facilities available, TTD officials have advised the devotees to visit Tirumala only as per the darshan date given.
By Newsmeter Network Published on 28 Dec 2022 5:13 AM GMTTirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) is setting up 92 counters at 9 locations to issue Sarva Darshanam tickets so that more people can avail Vaikunta Dwara Darshan for 10 days starting January 2.
Keeping given the COVID-19 pandemic, TTD chairman YV Subba Reddy has made masks mandatory for devotees visiting the temple. Speaking to the media YV Subba Reddy said: "A total of 4,50,000 Slotted Sarva Darshan tickets will be issued for ten days. The tickets will be issued from 2 pm on January 1 in Tirumala".

To facilitate the devotees from various neighboring states to know about the counters, QR code facility boards have also been displayed in a few areas. Devotees can scan the code, and get a route map to reach the counter area. Also, the TTD staff will be deployed at a few locations to help the devotees. Food, water, and mobile toilets have been kept available near the ticket counters.
"The devotees with SSD tokens, shall have to report at Sri Krishna Teja Rest House in Tirumala on their specified date and time to avoid long waiting hours for darshan", said Reddy.
Chairman advised the Govindamala devotees to visit Tirumala for Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan only with tokens. Every day, 1,000 devotees from backward and tribal areas across the state will be provided Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan for ten days.
Book online for Srivani Trust/ Special Darshan tickets:
TTD has released Srivani trust tickets online (2000 tickets per day), which is from January 2-11. No tickets will be issued offline. Similarly, 2.05 lakh special entry tickets (Rs.300) from January 1 to 11 online.
Accommodation, advance bookings canceled
Given New Year Day, Vaikunta Ekadasi on January 2, and Vaikunta Dwadasi on January 3, all advance accommodation bookings are canceled from December 29 to January 3. VIPs will be allotted only two rooms as there is limited accommodation in Tirumala. No VIP referral letters will be taken on January 2 and 3. With limited accommodation facilities available, TTD officials have advised the devotees to visit Tirumala only as per the darshan date given.
On Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi, the darshan for common pilgrims commences by 6 am and will continue till 11 pm. On Vaikunta Ekadasi day Swarna Ratham procession takes place between 9 am and 11 am. On Vaikunta Dwadasi day, Chakra Snanam will be observed between 4.30 am and 5.30 am.
TTD Chairman said that the TTD is keeping ready stock of 3.5 lakh laddus for devotees, deployed 400 sanitary workers, additional barbers in Kalyanakatta, vigilance sleuths, and police to safeguard the devotees. The Annaprasadam will be served from 6 am to 12 midnight.
Parking
Both the Ghat roads in Tirumala will remain open 24X7 for the convenience of the pilgrims. Three additional dispensaries and one mobile dispensary will be set up for the occasion. A parking facility in Tirumala has been allocated for 8000 vehicles. Devotees will be distributed pamphlets with information on Vaikunda Ekadasi, in all bus depots, railway stations, and alipiri steps.
