Video: Lucky escape for tea seller after his stall catches fire at Kakinada harbour

Kakinada: It was a lucky escape for a tea stall owner after a fire broke out at Kakinada fishing harbour on Saturday. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to the locals who witnessed the incident, flames erupted from the tea stall after a gas leak. The tea stall owner, who was alerted, immediately escaped. Within minutes, the stall exploded.

Fire teams rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

According to the locals, there are around 20 shops, hotels, and food stalls at the harbour. They do not follow any safety norms, they alleged.
