Hyderabad: The Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authorities (YTDA) have issued orders to allow private vehicles on the hill. The YTDA will collect entrance fees from devotees who wish to park their vehicles atop the hill from 1 May.

The decision was taken after a review meeting was held earlier this week. A designated space will be provided for parking on the hillock.

The parking fee for an hour is Rs. 500. For every additional hour, devotees will be charged Rs. 100 more.

However, temple staff, MLAs, MLCs, MPs, judges, and other high-level officers will be exempted from paying parking fees. Donors who make large donations to the temple can also avail of the exemption by showing their identification cards.

Additionally, the parking space on the hillock is limited due to which only 50-70 vehicles will be permitted daily. However, autos and two-wheelers are still not allowed on the hill.

Devotees can also park their cars at the foot of the hillock and take special buses arranged by TSRTC to the temple.
