What can we do to learn more languages? TS student Akshara asks PM during 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'
A class XI student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Akshara, asked PM Modi: "What can we do to learn more languages?"

A class XI student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Akshara, asked PM Modi: "What can we do to learn more languages?"
Akshara told NewsMeter that on January 21, there was an essay writing competition in her school and the topic was 'Pariksha Pe Charcha'.
“I was one of the six students who got selected after the competition. We were then interviewed by Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad T Gopala Krishna and the school's Principal Daniel Rethnakumar. That is how I got selected to ask our PM Narendra Modi a question on 'Pariksha Pe Charcha’, she said.
About 38 lakh students, teachers, and parents participated in the sixth edition of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ‘s`Pariksha Pe Charcha’,
Question: What can we do to learn more languages?
PM Modi: To learn a language, one must be completely involved in the culture and diversity of the place and the people and put our heart and soul into it". Apart from learning our mother tongue, all Indians should learn a few phrases from other regional languages to promote diversity.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is among the most exciting programs that help in making exams stress-free. This event has been organized successfully for the last five years by the Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education.
On January 27, Modi interacted with students, teachers, and parents about upcoming board exams. Students of classes 9 to 12, selected teachers, and parents participated in the event. This year, nearly 38 lakh students registered for Pariksha Pe Charcha, which is at least 15 lakh higher than last year.
