'Yuva Shakthi': No tie-up with Naidu; unite to bring down 'dictator', says PK
He assured the youth that he will speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah about the steel plant issue.
By Sri Lakshmi Muttevi Published on 13 Jan 2023 6:15 AM GMTSrikakulam: Jana Sena party Chief Pawan Kalyan today called upon his supporters to unite for bringing down a "dictator". "If you do not fight together, you will remain slaves of the YSRCP government as shown in 'Rangasthalam'. Take inspiration from Alluri Seetharama Raju, and raise your voice to pull down a dictator", Pawan Kalyan said addressing 'Yuva Shakthi' at Ranasthalam in Srikakulam district.
Pawan Kalyan made a slew of promises and urged people to vote him to power.
The actor lambasted the YSRCP government for neglecting the North Andhra region, where 50 percent of the population migrated to other states to eke out a living. He assured the youth that he will speak to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah about the steel plant issue.
Pawan Kalyan appealed to the youth to strengthen his hands. "I will be in politics until my last breath. I am into acting for financial support. The day I get sufficient funds, I will quit films", said Pawan Kalyan. He said how senior leaders like Kapil Sibal and Chidambaram practice law besides pursuing their political careers.
"We almost won in 53 assembly segments in the last election. But our votes were spread over the state. Had they been consolidated, the party could have won some seats. People rallied behind me but did not send me to the Assembly where I could have raised my voice. I lost in two constituencies. I did not lose heart and started afresh like an injured soldier in a war," he said.
Pawan Kalyan raised the Polavaram project issue and criticized the government for failing to provide jobs to the unemployed and salaries to the employees. " YSRCP ministers were best at abusing the opposition leaders in last three years," he said.
Speaking on the three-capital issue, Pawan Kalyan said, "I have challenged Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, the late father of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. I have the same guts now. I will break everyone into pieces if you dare to speak about dividing the state into pieces".
Pawan Kalyan also talked about his meeting with Naidu
"I had no discussions on alliances and seat adjustments with TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu during our recent meeting. I expressed solidarity with what he faced in the Kuppam constituency and discussed GO No. 1, the future of the state, and how to bail out the people from the crisis. People should remember that I pay Rs 25 crore income tax per year", he said
Admitting that he had criticized the TDP government in the past on certain policies, Pawan Kalyan said: "At times, we have to compromise on certain issues. That is why we have decided to put up a joint fight.
