According to the statement given by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Medchal, on Monday at about 5 pm, Ali Khan reached Alwal along with procession for the funeral of Gaddar.
He suddenly expressed uneasiness. He was given first aid through a team of primary health camp and immediately got shifted to Russh Hospital, Kompalli for better treatment. The duty doctor examined him and declared as brought dead.
"Khan went to LB Stadium on Sunday and came back home in the night. He again went on Monday morning at 10 am to be part of the funeral procession," said the DCP.
Today, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President Revanth Reddy along with Congress leaders went to pay respect. All social workers, activists, friends, senior journalist paid their last respect.
The funeral of Khan is on August 8.

Zaheeruddin Ali Khan is a charted accountant and was in the field of journalism for the past 35 years. He was the cousin of Siasat Managing Director Zahid Ali Khan. It may be noted that his younger brother Dr Mazhar Ali Khan shot himself dead recently.
