Tragic: 2 youths killed after overspeeding bike rams into electric pole at Mailardevpally
By Newsmeter Network Published on 27 Aug 2020 4:30 PM GMTHyderabad: Two youths were killed after their speeding bike rammed into an electric pole at Mailardevpally on the outskirts of the city on the night of 26 August. Both the victims, Mohd Sajeed and Khaja Nizamuddin, were not wearing helmets, the Mailardevpally police said.
The two youths, both residents of Bandlaguda, were travelling from Aramghar to Chandryanagutta on Wednesday night. Sajeed was driving fast and while taking a turn, he lost control of the motorbike vehicle and crashed into an electric pole on the median. CCTV footage captured the mishap.

The injured youths were being shifted to Osmania Hospital but died on the way, the police said. Based on a complaint from Sajeed’s father-in-law Syed Saleem, a case has been registered at the Mailardevpally police station.
Taking note of the fatal crash, the Cyberabad traffic police tweeted, “Fatal accident near Durga nagar Jn, Mailardevpalli, last night. Over speeding. Rash driving. No helmets. Follow rules. Save lives.”
