ISB student and two others booked for abusing Cyberabad cops

Hyderabad: Three youths, including an ISB student, consuming alcohol on the road were taken into custody at Serilingampally municipal office in the city for abusing the police who were on patrol duty on Wednesday night.

Sub-inspector of Chandanagar police station, Ramulu, filed a complaint against the youths stating that they had used objectionable language against the cops when they tried to disperse them from the public place.

Further, the SI said that when the police asked them their details, they refused to divulge any information.

However, during interrogation, the arrested were identified as Dutta Adhitya, 31, a contractor belonging to Chandanagar, Maadri Prithvi Raj, 29, an ISB student and son of Ex-Sarpanch Devender Raju - resident of Patanchervu, Bhallam Ravi Varma, 31, an employee in a private firm and resident of Gachibowli.

A case was filed against the trio under Sections 188, 3531 of IPC. They would be produced before the court.
