TRS Serilingampally corporator who assaulted woman arrested

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police arrested the TRS corporator from Serilingampally on 19 September for assaulting a woman.
Ragam Nagender Yadav had assaulted the woman, a resident of Laxmi Vihar Phase 2 at Nallagandla, Serilingampally where the corporator also lives, on 12 September after she had asked him to move his car which was parked on the road.
The woman requested the security personnel to inform the owner to move the car so that other vehicles could pass. But when the corporator was informed of the same, he had a heated exchange with the woman. He even went to her villa and picked up a quarrel with her claiming that she should move her car from the road as there was an emergency. Yadav then assaulted the woman and insulted her modesty, the police said.
Based on the complaint, the police filed an FIR and arrested Yadav on 19 September. He was produced before the court for judicial remand
