Sreevari Laddus only made by Brahmins: TTD
The TTD, which was silent all these days, has finally responded, after The News Meter brought the issue to its notice.
The Board has clarified by stating that the sacred laddu is being prepared exclusively by Sri Vaishnava Brahmins in Tirumala for several decades now.
"The news which is going viral is absolutely fake and intentioned to malign the reputation of Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams," an official of TTD said and warned that they will lodge a criminal case against those spreading the fabricated news.
