Two brothers murdered in Nalgonda over old rivalry

Nalgonda: In a shocking incident, two brothers of the same family were hacked to death by a machete axe while they were sleeping outside their house by unidentified miscreants at Hazarugudem village, Halia Mandal of Nalgonda district. The victims were identified as Satyanaranaya, 38, and Anjaneyulu, 32.

On February 4, Anjaneyulu and his other brother, Hari Krishna, who is a resident of Hyderabad but came to the village to visit his brothers, killed one Indira’s son. Police suspect the hand of Indira behind the two murders that happened this morning as one of the victims was accused of killing Indira’s son.

“The village experiences frequent power cuts and so, the victims were sleeping outside their house. Taking advantage of this, the miscreants hacked the duo to death,” the police said.

The miscreants targeted Hari Krishna too but luckily, he was not present in the village. The case is being investigated, added CI Chandrashekar of Halia police station, who is probing the case.
