Two houses built on a septic tank in Alwyn colony razed down
By Newsmeter Network Published on 12 Sep 2020 7:23 AM GMTHyderabad: In an on-going drive against illegal constructions in Greater Hyderabad. The officials of enforcement vigilance and disaster management, pulled down two illegal houses in Alwyn colony of Kukatpally.
Following a complaint received by the enforcement officials, an inspection was carried out at the approved Hyderabad Urban Development Area (HUDA) layout situated in Alwyn Colony (Phase I, Sy.No.336) in Kukatpally. The team found a plot (land) demarcated as septic tank.

However, 2 houses have been constructed in the demarcated septic in violation to the approved layout. The residents were served notices under GHMC Act to submit the ownership and permission documents.āHaving failed to submit the valid documents, the official demolished the unauthorized constructions in the septic tank areaā said an officer.
The Directorate of Enforcement, Vigilance Disaster Management has launched Parks, Lakes & Layout Open Spaces Protection Cell (Assets Protection Cell) enabling citizens to post complaints on encroachment of Parks, Lakes & Layout and Open spaces in GHMC limits.
The department has issued a toll Free No. 1800-599-0099 for the citizens to call and register their complaint. The protection cell operator will receive the calls on Toll Free Number and registers their complaint.
